Q: How did the Angry Elk Amber Ale get its name?
A: The Evergreen location has many elk that graze on the surrounding landscape, including a momma elk that has her baby every May/June in the pasture right across the parking lot! One day the head brewer was walking home, and got between the mom and her baby – and she protectively chased him all the way home. The next amber ale was named after the encounter.
